The Terry Fox 360 team will work together as a single peloton throughout the ride. Any rider that experiences a mechanical or has difficulty in maintaining the pace will be picked-up by a chase vehicle and reunited with the peloton. The event will provide neutral support and though there is no set registration fee participants may be expected to cover transportation and accommodations costs. Riders will briefly stop at predetermined feed zones in-order to refuel and celebrate Terry Fox and the Marathon of Hope.
It poured for over 9 of the 11 plus hours the riders were in the seated position. It could have been easy to roll over instead of out of bed when the 4:30am alarm went off. Instead the riders were reminded of Terry Fox who woke every morning at 4:30am, 143 days in a row, to run a marathon despite the conditions outside and how he was feeling within.
