Leanne Alexander, Stephenville Crossing Newfoundland

An active member in her community, Leanne has spent her time volunteering at the local senior's home and the local youth club. She is a peer tutor and a recipient of the Duke of Edinburgh Award. Leanne is also an outstanding athlete who participates in sports such as Archery, Volleyball, Wrestling, Soccer and Basketball. Leanne is planning to study Nursing at St. Francis Xavier University. "I rank Leanne near the top of all the students I have met over the years. She works hard academically to succeed; she has a warm heart; she is very cooperative and she strives to make her school a better place for everyone.
