Cameron is very active with issues for the disabled. He is a Champs Junior Counsellor, a frequent lecturer about disabled sport, and has organized and directs a program of wheelchair sports in his community. In addition, Cameron is a Wheelchair Track Provincial gold medalist, a writer for his school newspaper, a member of his school's student council, an honour roll student, and the recipient of numerous athletic, academic and voluntary awards. "Cameron certainly presents as being willing to learn, and furthermore is open to differing viewpoints and perspectives when offered by others.
