John Cumming, Teacher We recognize that Canadian educators play a vital role in ensuring that Terry’s mission is passed down through the generations, not just for the sake of history but for the opportunity it presents to empower and inspire our young people. Terry once said, “People in cancer clinics all over the world need people who believe in miracles.” There is no doubt in our minds that our educators are miracle-makers in our School Program. We know how much work is involved in organizing a Terry Fox event and we cannot really ever adequately express our appreciation for what you do.
