The lives of Canadians are so filled with activities – work, school, family, tasks, and errands – that it would just be easier not to add another activity to the list. Yet Terry Fox Organizers choose to do just that, with their remarkable commitment to hosting The Terry Fox Run in their community. 

In an era where volunteering is becoming a lost art, Terry Fox Run Organizers stand out as messengers of hope and action. Like Terry Fox, they believe they can make a difference and in doing so they give us all the opportunity to do our part in fundraising for cancer research.  With no budget for expenses or offers of incentives, our Organizers bring creativity, passion and a sense of community to their planning and the effort pays off every year with more than 900 Runs across Canada. Terry’s legacy is in their hands and they have done him proud.
