The Terry Fox Foundation New  Investigator Awards (2010)

Purpose

To provide outstanding young researchers with support as they develop their career as independent research scientists or clinician scientists and to undertake high-quality research into cancer in close collaboration with established research teams.

Scope

Support under this RFA is targeted at high-quality biomedical, clinical and translational research providing information wich may form the basis of innovative cancer prevention, diagnosis and/or treatment.

Support offered

Award of up to $150,000 per annum are tenable for three years and provide:

• Research expenses, including research staff and equipment
• Travel and accomodation for scientifically justified visits.

• Submit an Application Summary by Monday May 31st, 2010
