RegistrationThe incredible growth of the Terry Fox Run in countries outside Canada has been stimulated, in part, by the fact that virtually all the money raised goes to fund research in the country of origin.Cancer research facilities that benefit from monies raised by the run include those approved by either the International Union Against Cancer in Geneva or The Terry Fox Foundation. An important requirement is that all money raised be applied directly to cancer research. Any country wishing to institute a Terry Fox Run must first establish that country has an approved research facility. The Terry Fox Foundation will provide the direction necessary to obtain this approval. All Foundation polices and guidelines must be followed.
